This book was written in 1991 - The year after Windows 3.0 was first shipped. Sometimes you have to wait a REALLY long time for a vision to happen.

I like this xkcd reference to H2G2 as a "fulfillment" a bit better Though it is a Kindle reference, it's pretty amusing.
