There is very little glare on the 505 or 300 or anyother ebook reader that does not have a touchscreen. It really does give you a paper like feel to it which is the point of e-ink. There is never a time when I see my reflection looking back at me why I try to read like the 600 does. Touchscreens add an extra layer. You just got to decide if those extra features are worth the loss of clarity and the glare. This could be avoided if more than just amazon was willing to put a keyboard on the device to give you the extra features.
