I wonder if the removal of parallel import restrictions in Australia will alleviate this sort of BS here. It's a bit of an issue in current affairs in Australia, with local authors decrying the idea as BAD(tm), as it will kill the local publishing industry, and big companies (Coles/Myer,Woolworths and Fairfax) saying it's a win for Free Trade.

I've already purchased some geographically restricted eBooks from fictionwise, but it doesn't work anymore, no more monies for them I guess.
