Using it for more than a week is enough for me.. The glare you describe did annoy me on Sony 700 as well.
But it's not a "symptom" of eInk. It's because of the touchscreen.
Do you need touchscreen or would Sony 300 or 505 be an alternative?
Their display is WAY better, no glare at all. Readable even in broad daylight.
