Good question and interesting idea. This is the first book in that program, which promises to bring back to print indie authors who have rave reviews, but essentially can't afford to get print versions out. With Kindle DTP, though, few of them have a reason to go entirely out of print, so I don't know how they'll be choosing future books in the series (this one had not been out on Kindle before, just in a print edition). As far as I could tell, this was the only book selected so far.
