UL Certified?

Has anyone else noticed the lack of a UL certification on their Sony Portable Reader System?

I haven't dug through my paperwork yet but I thought being UL Certified meant you had to put the logo on the device...

Why am I asking about this? Well in light of last year's flaming Sony rechargeable batteries the issue of UL certification takes on a whole new importance. If you have a house fire started by a non UL certified device your insurance may not pay out.

The other odd labeling I noticed is that they list the Volts but not the Amps. I recall that as being a labeling violation as well...
