A few years ago Shackleton was adopted as a role-model by management consultants (back when companies had money to burn ). It was just a fad, and rather dispespectful imho - we didn't get any managers of Shackleton's calibre where I work, sadly.

Kenneth Brannagh played Shackleton in a made-for-TV dramatisation modestly entitled "Shackleton - The Greatest Survival Story of All Time" - available on DVD, and better than it's title .
