I preordered one at Borders. First they told me I would get in early August, now they are saying mid September. Everybody's getting them, including parts of Europe. Where's mine! Well, I called Borders today, cancelled the order, and purchased a silver one from Abt, who has them in stock (origionally wanted a red one. But, the silver is probably more suitable as it is less distracting while reading). I purchased it without a charge for shipping or sales tax. They confirmed it will ship out Tuesday morning, as this is a holiday, but 4 day delivery will get it here Friday or Saturday. I have read complaints about clarity, but as no device is perfect, that is why I have more than one. I have a 505 for easy reading. For serious stuff requiring the annotations, I have used my 700. The 600 will replace my 700 with even better clarity and a dictionary and hand writing recognition I have missed since getting rid of my beloved ebw 1150 which did not always handle pdf's well for me.
