But you might not be a Linux user. I can think of all sorts of useful reasons for having symbolic links on my Opus, even though I am a Windows user. Eg, I might want to have multiple ways to categorise my books using folders (by category and by author, for example), but not want to have multiples copies of the book on the device. With symbolic links on the Opus file system I could do that.
