I chose it because the advice on this forum was that Mobipocket was the way to go - more content, better pricing etc. etc.
I would like the idea of folders so would welcome the upgrade
But now I'm reading that epub is the way to go and perhaps I should be looking at the pdf version of the firmware update which looks like it might have a better supported life.
I am not bothered about my investment in .prc books (thanks to information gathered here ) and so the process of going to pdf and converting my existing library would not be too painful - but:-
What is it with epub? I mean other than my home country problems with fictionwise I've not had too much trouble getting stuff to read, but now it seems epub is better? I just looked at the Borders site and I have to download an application just to see what books they have for sale.
So people what should I do?

For most fiction reading, mobipocket is surely adequate - do you have any problems with your current reading ?
When the firmware comes out you have a choice to stay with mobi, or move to epub (even back and forth).....
Unless mobi becomes unsupported, then I see no rational reason to move to epub - there are a multitude and more of books already available in mobi format - and my current library is developed in that.....
Library support I would be happy to have, but other than that I'm not overly bothered. I have a stable Gen3 that has lasted over a year without any resets and it does what I want it to do - namely load with books and read .... dictionary support works well........(another issue with ePub [may change]).
