Found a temprorary fix for this.

Install an older version of Calibre (I used 0.6.5). You can find older versions at this URL:
http://www.utterlyinsane.org/calibre/win/

Start up the program, and enter prefererences. Change the language to English, press OK and close app.

Reinstall 0.6.10, and voila .. it works =)
