Undoubtedly this is still a good deal but, as I said, a mixed blessing. While I'm usually the first to jump on the 100% micropay bandwagon I have now lost one excellent way of maximizing that benefit - applying accumulated micropay to excellently priced bestsellers I am dying to own instead of just accumulating more micropay. As well, the books I have on my wishlist that qualify for this promotion are all sadly well over $9.99, some, such as Angel's Game, almost double that which means I have to shell out money and find some other way to spend my micropay. Doubtless I will find a way to live with this and maybe someday even smile again... but at this point I stick with my "mixed blessing" rating.
