No, the iLiad SE is older than the DR.
The screen on the DR1000S is A5 sized, so if you fold a sheet of A4 paper in half, you'll get a good idea of the size of the screen. The whole machine, in its "flip cover", is a little smaller than a sheet of A4 paper, and about 1cm thick.
