Very different in tone and subject from The Lighthouse Chronicles, it tells the story of a young man named Liam Wheelwright, who investigates the gruesome deaths of his estranged parents and is pulled into a world where emotions have a smell, chocolate is more than dessert and monsters hide amongst humans. It is a journey of self-discovery.
