BTW, i also noticed the refresh was somewhat faster, but before reading this thread... So i guess it's either a common placebo, shared between most Sony Reader users (which seems to indicate the deepest concern we have about our new shiny toy
), or it really IS faster.
I'm inclined to think the
screen refresh itself isn't any faster, however, it now takes considerably less time for the reader to render the page. Hence, total refresh time IS somewhat shorter.
