I think I'll give myself a present on the 24th... I'll have my driver's license for 5 years then (and I'll no longer be a starter driver!)
when you get your driver's license here, no matter how old you are, you'll get a starter driver's license. Which means that if you break the law by speeding, drinking alcohol, ignoring save driving distances, or anything else that is just plain dangerous driving, you get a point. And after 3 points, you'll have to get your driver's license again. A bit like the English system (which I adore, by the way) but a bit less strict and only for the first 5 years
