I don't know of any way to do that.

However, you could convert the files using Calibre, and then tweak the options so you could have a larger font size, and no need for zooming.

Also, if you convert your books to LRF format and copy them using sony's software, then the books will be well indexed by the reader, making the zoom function very quick (I have tried on a 800 pages book, the zoom takes 1-2 secs).
