I'd say 'try it!' You can't do any lasting harm. It looks like Nation A. List has succeeded. It will require editing config files, for sure. And the Q7 uses WICD, which doesn't yet support cell-modems, at least when I last checked -- anyone know better? (I use the latest WICD on my desktop, and it doesn't seem to have any options.) That means installing Network Manager, and the Hasty version is pretty old.
As for erasing USB drives -- if it shows as a mountable drive, it should be fairly easy. But anything mounting a Windows executable wouldn't execute, so... ??? I don't have a cell-modem, can't experiment.
My Q7 went back to China before I could pick it up -- I'm still waiting to hear from Eletroworld. It's been a real cock-up all around.
