It crashes really often for me, but I've gotten quite adept at launching (and re-launching, and re-re-launching) through Quicksilver. Two or three times usually does the trick. It's amazing what we'll put up with to use a favorite piece of software.

ETA - in spite of all the crashes, I haven't lost any data - I'm very pleased about that.
