Angry

mmm Another bug in 0.6.10. When viewing the news (old news < 0.6.8 and new ones):
ERROR: ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>AttributeError</b>:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'upper'

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/kovid/work/calibre/src/calibre/gui2/main.py", line 1424, in view_book
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'upper'

Well I dropped my Calibre folder and so dropped the database, did a reinstall and it seems to work oke again.
No I did not, after a while ( wel I did the integrity check again) same error. Launching the publications external (from the folder so not by the calibre entry) workes fine.
Restarting does the job untill ... that integrity check which fails.https://www.mobileread.com/forums/images/icons/icon8.gif
