You know, MerLock, I didn't know about the page scroll function! I never had a 700, and I never could find one on display in a store that hadn't been so abused it was useless as a demo.

I just tried it on my 600, and it works! I see the pages flick by, but there is no black page between each page. It goes quickly, but you can still see the page numbers at the bottom clearly enough to stop when you see the page you're looking for. I hope I explained that well. (Edited to add: I just watched the youtube video, and my pages looked like her pages when they were flicking by.)

There is word search. The only way know how to do it is to double tap on a word. It displays the definition of the word at the bottom of the screen, with options to search for the word in the book (forward and backward), or to open up the actual dictionary. I can't remember if there is another function - I left my reader in the other room. I don't know if there was another way the 700 did it, but I'll try it out if you tell me how the 700 worked.
