Not in my opinion. Sitting in the same place, without moving except to pick up my 505 then my 600, I compared the reflectivity of the two readers. With the 505, I could see a vague shadow - mostly just a blurry silhouette of my head. I immediately picked up my 600, and I can see a reflection of my face well enough to see my skin color, my eyebrows, lips, glasses. I can't see my eye color, however. With the 505, I saw no features on my face.

I did this test in my home, using my house lighting, sitting in the chair where I'll be reading the Sony.
