I do this, too. I cart my ipod touch around with me just about everywhere, whereas my ebook reader tends to stay at home (unless I'm going away for a while).

My eyes grow tireder with the ipod, most especially because it tends to reflect a lot more than the PRS-505. I'd found my old 700 reflected, and needed special angling to avoid it, but the 505 is very comfortable.

This! I broke my PRS-700 almost as soon as I got it, was heartbroken, and now I treat its successor very carefully. The ipod gets put in a soft case (from etsy, a felt cassette) and put in my pannier as I ride around. No way I'd allow my Sony the same treatment!
