Just FYI: the bookmark button does not work like the one on the 505/600/700... where you hold the button to view all bookmarks. It just... doesn't do it. However, since there's now a dedicated 'Home' button vs a menu button that goes back, back back it is only 2 keypresses rather than more.
After going back to the store (again), I've decided to exchange my new 505 for the 300, which I'll be picking up tomorrow. After looking at it again, there really isn't a drawback to it for me as the size and screen are both pluses, whereas I'm not phased by the lack of memory card support or touchscreen/notation capabilities. Plus, since it's cheaper, I'll be able to get the 'book' cover as well as the extended warranty for the same price (my wife bought the 505 for my bday before the price dropped to 299). Hooray!
