Okay guys. I emailed her exactly what pdurrant told me to write. I kept it simple.
"I downloaded the book to an unauthorized installation of ADE.
I deleted that installation, installed a fresh copy and authorized it.
I now cannot read my book. Please refund the book purchase so that I can buy
it again and download it with my authorized copy of ADE."
And here is her reply:
Quote:
Work with me here! You are not following the instructions and therefore causing the licensing problem.
I have written in caps below, not because I am shouting, but I want to distinguish your typing versus mine. :-)
As you said:
Tamara,
I'm going to try this:
"I downloaded the book to an unauthorized installation of ADE."
THE BOOK WAS THEN TIED TO THE ANONYMOUS ID YOU OPENED IT TO.
"I deleted that installation, installed a fresh copy and authorized it."
ONCE YOU DOWNLOADED THE BOOK TO THE AUTHORIZED COPY OF ADOBE DE, YOU OPENED THE BOOK WITH A 2ND ADOBE ID.
"I now cannot read my book. Please refund the book purchase so that I can buy
it again and download it with my authorized copy of ADE."
YOU ARE AUTHORIZING ADOBE DE, NOT THE BOOK ITSELF DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?
Before I sent another new feed (and pay for it), you need to ensure a free test book works on the machine. there is no need to authorize and redownload and authorize adobe DE. Do it once and then it works.

I have not shown her the link to my picture post yet, because I haven't received permission from the moderators.
But what should I reply to her now.
