Actually, the author has written a dozen novels, and her seventh novel,
God Don't Play, landed her a spot on the prestigious New York Times Best Sellers list for the first time. I don't think she's having trouble selling her novels. Since her novels are about women -- and Southern women at that -- she's not going to have the same broad appeal as Dan Brown or John Grisham.

Now as for me, I'm going to go grab a copy of the free book and just *hope* that I don't wind up feeling compelled to buy all of her earlier book or I might be having some serious discussion with my credit card company!
