Well, there's your problem right there. The .acsm is NOT the ebook... it is the file that ADE opens which has info on where to d/l the ebook from the ebook store. It sends that info along with your Adobe ID, the ebook store encrypts the ebook with/for your adobe ID and sends the ebook back to ADE.... That gets stored "somewhere" on your PC... I don't know off hand, I don't really use ADE that much and never bought an ebook with it.

That said, is there a reason you don't just connect your reader to your computer, open ADE and send the book to your reader using ADE?

Other than that, you have to find the actual ebook file, it probably has a .pdf or .epub extension. (It that is wrong I am sure someone here will correct me.)
