Today was a very nice, sunny, warm day. Spent a couple of hours lying on the beach, reading. Tomorrow, we're expecting 31C. "Fine and dry. A hot day."

We're starting to get that first sense of summer - that reminder of how unrelenting it is, day & night, hot, humid, often from September through March. Ya gotta love it though (especially after the first season of it, when your body speaks in rivulets and the heat drives you mad as a cut snake).

Ah, winter, I hardly knew ye.
