I keep my address book on my reader. It's on my computer as a .doc, font size 18, and displays very well on the 505.

When travelling I download information from tourist websites, convert it into LRF and keep it on the reader.
A kind forum member also pointed me in the direction of Wikitravel: http://wikitravel.org/en/Main_Page
where I've found a very useful Portuguese phrase book, as well as a lot of other information.
