Great advice from many people!

and the EZ Reader Pocket Pro here:

Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. If someone on here owns one of each I would appreciate their input. I'd ask that Robert guy that works for Astek but I'm worried he might tell me to buy the more expensive one just because of the price. I don't want to Q1 2010 for the Mentor class eReaders either, I want one now in the next couple days. I've been looking for 2 weeks now and am too impatient to wait another five months.

Dear Moo:

I am RobertB and I work for Astak.

It is a hard choice. Both are good honest and dependable devices and both come with the crush-resistant case included and ear buds included. Both Have Adobe Digital Editions and both take an SD card and have a user-replaceable rechargeable battery. Both are Open Format... meaning it displays in 12 formats... meaning you can buy eBooks from literally hundreds of websites and get the price you want! Both have MP3 stereo.

What really makes the 5 inch Pocket PRO your ideal choice (in my fair opinion) is that it has 8 levels of grey scale where the 6 inch only displays 4 levels. Pictures and illustrations come up far better. Text-To-Speech (TTS) is nice... and only on the Pocket PRO. The processor is 400MHz (double most others); and the Epson Controller IS a landmark difference!

For these four reasons above (and the beautiful 6 colors) I am recommending the Pocket PRO for you!!

By the way, you are welcome to go to my blog: robertbEZ.blogspot.com. There is a detailed post on the Pocket PRO just up today!
