Yes.
Another rant: God and I have had a long lasting battle: everytime I am out in the open he lets the rain pour. It has become a test of wills. It became a test of egoes.
After I got a car I'd thought I'd won.
But then the other day, I had to take the bike to work. The skies were grey, raindrops were waiting to fall. But I got to work just in time before the skies opened up. I rose my fist, shaking it knowingly at the heavens: "I got you this time" I thought.
Three hours later they called from my daycare-center that my son was ill and I had to fetch him. At that very minute it started raining cats and dogs, and I had no option other than to accept it and get on my bike to fetch my kid.
I was simply outsmarted by God.
But I swear I won't let him win another round.
