I'm just back on Oahu, in Hawaii, after two years in Thailand. Not local born, just lived for 4 years prior to Thailand (Master's of Fine Arts at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.)
Wanted to see if there were enough folks for a meetup, or maybe just coffee-klatsch. At which, I would drink tea.
I literally just found a place to live, after a week on the island. Honolulu has the hardest housing ever, especially after Thailand, where it is ridiculously easy and inexpensive.
You will laugh at me, but I was so busy with my MFA that I haven't yet visited the Big Island, or Maui. But I will, promise.
So, anyhow, that makes three of us, right? On two islands!
