What HarryT means is that the reset button turns the processor off, but
you see no change in the screen (since the screen remains in whatever state it was, and it takes no power). The only change you can see is if the LED was on, then the reset button should turn it off. After the reset, you power the unit on as usual, and
then you see a change in the screen, that's the usual and expected (once you know how eink works) behaviour.
