it never turned off. the second screen just hung there, whether i hit reset or power, and i tried them several times each.
HarryT - i swear you're good luck! not only do i agree with 99% of your posts, but i just tried the power button and it finally worked. my ebook is loading and soon i'll be reading. hooray!
