i'm so depressed - my cybook has frozen. i plugged it into my computer as it was coming on, and it never got past the second screen. it was at 90% charge, the light lights when it's plugged in to charge but not otherwise, using the reset did nothing. nothing is showing in "my computer".
i admit i did unplug it to reset it, but nothing was showing where i could select to disconnect hardware as it had not shown on my computer at all and the hardware thingy had not appeared on the lower right of my screen.
the unit is over a year old with 512mb and has no sd card in the slot, with around 275 books total. at this point i'd happily flash the firmware, but my computer doesn't know it's there. i have no idea what firmware is in it - 7something, i think. i'm letting it fully charge at the moment since i have no better ideas.
strangely, the suspicion that it's my own darned fault fails to cheer me up very much
