Does that works properly for you ? Mine does restart, but then keeps displaying welcome screen with blue light on, and won't move until i do a hard reset.

I sent an e-mail to Bookeen support & they asked me if I had my auto power off activated. I had it de-activated, so I changed it to activated to see what would happen. It freezes less (but still freezes every now and then).
