I have two things I am happy about. First of all, my wife has been paralyzed from the waist down since July 2001. A few weeks ago she drove with a certified driving instructor to learn to use hand controls. She passed her driving course and can now have controls installed in the car so she can drive. She is awaiting contact from the company that will do that for her. Once that is complete she can get her license. Eventually she hopes to get a van so she can be fully independant and drive herself to work instead of depending on public transit to take her. And most of all... shewill be able to be the designated driver.
My other reason for being happy is that I am graduating next Feb with a Bachelor's degree. It took until I was 55, but at least I will have it. That's all I have to say about that. Thanks.
