Agreed. But there are more alternatives, like what kid of battery you use.
I'd like to see a device with a bulge on the bottom back, or right back (to grip), and most of this bulge houses the battery. The top of the bulge houses the sd card slot and the bottom, perhaps, will house the earphone jack.
The actual WIDTH and LENGTH of the device can then be shortened to give just enough support to keep the screen stable.
I don't see a real
need for ultra thin devices. Especially for something that you have to hold onto for longer periods. Hand muscle fatigue/cramps.
