I'm not sure what you are referring to here with "the hassle of waiting." It takes about 2-3 seconds to come out of standby and you can have it auto standby with no activity in 3, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes (or never). You are right back where you left it. An e-ink device is still consuming a small amount of power in between page turns and is essentially in "standby" when not in use. The convenience of having it stay on the page without turning the screen off would be nice, but it's not a show-stopper for me. I can wait two seconds to resume (better than waiting 2 seconds for each page turn

Anyway, since this thread is to let people know about the jetBook who might want it, why spoil it for people who think it's the right device for them? There are many jetBook users on MR who are perfectly happy with their purchase.
