I wish somebody would have some pictures and pre-ordering for these cases soon! I'm going crazy here. I pre-ordered new readers for my husband and myself, and I need a cover, dang it!

However, I think I've decided I'm just going to order the lighted case when it becomes available. I've gotten so attached to my lightwedge cover that I don't think I can live without some sort of portable light source.

I tried a Mighty Bright telescoping LED booklight with my stock PRS-505 cover last night. The light uses 3 AAA batteries, which made it heavy hanging off the top of my cover. It also had a big clip that, while sturdy, was scratching the back of my beautiful red reader and was so thick that it tilted my reader up at an angle. It had the most beautifully even lighting that I've ever seen from a booklight, but I just don't see myself using it. I'm not going to let it scratch up my beautiful new 600.

But, that gold clutch does sound intriguing. I'd like it if it's metallic gold. If it's vinyl or plastic that's the color of gold wall paint, not so much.
