As I am a hobby artist, one of my initial motivations for buying the iRex was to use it as a digital sketchboard. After
installing Xournal, initial results do seem to be promising. It's not really suitable for creating finished art, but it is a huge help when coming up with basic perspective and composition for a more finished work - and these are the things I need to practice the most if I want to make progress as an artist.
In this thread, I want to explore the possibilities of using the iRex as a digital sketchboard, and also post the occasional piece of work at various degrees of completion. Here is my first sketch:
