I've always thought that one problem with digital pictures is the loss of the traditional "photo album". With an eReader that has color and displays images well, you'd have that back.

What you are talking about is called a Mobile Internet Device (MID). That will do ebook reading, browser, email, VoIP, color pictures, video, music, etc. Astak is working on a 7 inch (code named Spectrum) very actively... but it is hush-hush at this point. This is all I can tell you until closer to release.
ALL Astak eBook Readers already have MP3 stereo built into them. Some other people do not care about music... but I like to do both at once: read and listen to my music. One of our products, the Mentor Lite also comes with Sudoku and I do see "games" as a path for eBook Readers to go also!
