) a newbie (what IS the official definition of a newbie?) at the time and wondered whatever happened to him.
I never forget a face, just my purse, my cell phone, my grocery list, etc. but never a face!

Yes, large dogs. I like large dogs! I do remember that beautiful Bernese dog(s) and I recall a clever wit, too!
