Here is a snippet from an article on Engadget. I believe they paraphrased part of the NY Times article linked previously.
"Moreover, Sony is aiming to nix its "proprietary anti-copying software in favor of technology from the software maker Adobe that restricts how often e-books can be shared or copied." Once the switchover takes place, books purchased in Sony's online store will be readable on any device that supports EPUB, one of which will be Plastic Logic's forthcoming e-reader."
I was just wondering if that statement is correct or not? The books sold in the EPUB format at Sony's store will only be readable on any device that supports Adobe EPUB, and not just any EPUB if I'm thinking correctly.
Stanza supports EPUB but I'm not certain it'll be able to read EPUB's bought off of the Sony store.
