Also, if you sent something, and I haven't acknowledged it yet. Please let me know! It wouldn't be the first time a postcard never made it to it's destination!

On my last trip to New Orleans, almost 8 years ago-- before Katrina, I sent my then 3 year old daughter a postcard, which never, ever arrived to this day! She was already mad at mommy for going away , she wouldn't even talk to me when I called her everyday, sometimes twice a day, on the phone. *feel the knife twisting in my heart * But hey, it was my H.S. girlfriends' 40th birthday present to ourselves (all 6 of us turned 40 the same year). I think Key West is the planned trip for our 50th (ugh! ) which will be 2011. This year is also our 30th class reunion (double ugh!). The first and last one I went to was our 10th. I wonder if she'll handle the 50th trip any better this time?

It's also pretty typical that you'll beat your postcard home... talk about snail mail!
