I live in a Nordic country with much less sun
However, I have sat outside with a Cybook (black) and a Hanlin V3 (also black), and they got very hot in the sun, so much so that I was worried they would get overheated.
I just too two photos - not under a sun, it's overcast - but directly under a halogen lamp. They show how the screen and the case reflects light.
