You know a lot, from what I've read of yours, Moejoe. But I have to say that as bad as [he who must not be named]'s last book was, I nevertheless enjoyed and was impressed by his ability to write a book where most every chapter was four pages long and yet ended with a cliff-hanger. It was like cotton candy, but it was impressive (to me). I don't read fiction like that ever and so don't know but I assume that's pretty uncommon and required something like talent to achieve. No?
