We get some kind of radio wave signal from our power company, to go along with the 13.8 KV of power we draw. (Yeah, a particle accelerator is kind of a big user!) I'm told by someone who claims experience, that a trash can lid thrown so as to intercept the radio signal -- will shut down the whole site! It's a good thing I'm no good at Frisbee ... and probably couldn't heft a garbage can lid that far up.
