Many people prefer epub over lit, and I believe Calibre can batch convert them all for you, although you might want to check out the Calibre forums here and make sure.
Get Calibre, convert a few over, check out the differences, and if you like it, batch convert and purchase the PPro!
But I'd also still love to hear Robertb's take on it. (I hate making assumptions, it makes an ass out of you and umption.)
