My question is this: I've purchased a handful of titles from the Sony eBook store for my PRS-505. Do you suppose there will be some mechanism that would allow me to use those on a new model? Or, will those books be forever married to my current reader?
Similarly, the announcement of support for Macintosh clients is welcomed (one of the reasons I walked away from the 505, really). Has anybody seen a beta of the software or have any idea of migration from the PC client to the Mac client will be easy/difficult/impossible? I suspect "impossible", but I'm a pessimist when it comes to expectations from a primarily PC-oriented company like Sony.

The books you purchased from Sony for the 505 will be readable on the new models. It is a Sony format file and looking at the manual that was posted the new models will still be LRX compatible.
I can't wait for the mac software either. I bought a Kindle because I was tired of having to use my PC to purchase books (when it collects dust most of the time) and I like Amazon's prices for best sellers. Though, now with the mac software coming out and the new pricing for best sellers as well as new releases (this beats Amazon), I will more than likely be selling my Kindle to help pay for my 600. or should I say my Touch Reader
